Advanced Benefits - Reporting
Advanced Benefits (ABC) contains over 20 standard reports, forms, and listings.  Each has been designed to quickly provide visibility and control for a single benefit or all benefits on-file.  The HRtrax ABC module keeps a detailed point-in-time record of each employee and dependent enrollment, premium cost and change, plus withdrawals and waivers.  This level of detail provides the information needed when generating output such as: this months Carrier self-bill, or even a self-bill or billing reconciliation report for three months ago, or any user defined billing period.

Benefit Forms
In addition to the standard ABC reports, the system provides a means for generating flexible forms such as; Employee Benefit Enrollment Workbooks, Benefit Confirmation Letters, Certificates of Health Benefit Coverage, etc..

Employee Benefit Enrollment Workbooks:  These Workbooks are tailored specifically to each employee and are a great tool for new employees becoming eligible for benefits.  Enrollment Workbooks can also be produced during open enrollment, showing each employee's present enrolled plans plus all other eligible benefit plan choices along with any associated benefit costs.

Benefit Confirmation Letters:  Confirmation Letters can be automatically generated once an employee is enrolled in one or more benefits.  This letter contains text that you compose plus a listing of all the employee's enrolled benefits.  You can optionally instruct the system to include employee and employer contribution amounts for each benefit.  This Benefit Confirmation Letter is a very quick and powerful way of communicating how much your organization contributes towards each employees benefit package.

Certificates of Health Benefit Coverage:  Coverage Certificates can easily be generated for those employees who change health insurance plans and need continuous coverage without having to satisfy another benefit waiting period.  Generating these certificates requires little effort on the part of the user, simply enter the employee id, benefit code, preparation information, and print the certificate.  Name and address information are conveniently positioned on each certificate so that a standard windowed envelope can be used for delivery.

Enrollment Reports
Our standard benefit enrollment and/or activity reports show enrollments by plan, employee, or even organizational level.  You can choose to include employees only or list employees and their dependents.  Additional options allow you to select and specify enrollment dates and type of activity.  Age-based benefit reports show detail enrollments plus provide a summary listing by age tier showing total plan participation and total plan coverage amounts.  You may also produce monthly carrier self-bills, and/or billing reconciliation listings for any current or prior billing period.

Exception Listings
Another must-have feature provided by HRtrax’s ABC module is the ability to quickly and automatically identify exceptions to the rules. Benefit rules are on-file for each benefit and include rules of eligibility for both employee and dependents, rules for how much the employee and employer contributes towards the cost of each benefit, plus rules for COBRA eligibility and participation.  Reporting exceptions to these rules, tracking the circumstances that created the exception, and when necessary correcting exceptions is quick and easy with our exception listings.  Use these listings to gain confidence that each benefit plan is being administered accurately and that you are only paying for benefits that are valid.  Impress your CFO by showing her/him how quickly you can reassure them that Carrier/Provider invoices are being paid properly and only include eligible employees and eligible dependents.

More Reports ...
In addition to benefit forms, enrollment reports, and exception listings, there are a number of other helpful reports within the ABC module.  These additional reports can help you quickly identify when an employee is active in a benefit, but their eligible dependents are not enrolled.  Look ahead and report all active dependents that will age-out of a plan because they are beyond the coverage age or will need to receive a full-time-student status.  Report any payroll deduction discrepancy where the benefit plan says each enrolled employee should contribute a portion of the premium costs, however they are either not paying at all, or are paying more or less than the plan deduction amount.  And yes, within this ABC module you can even setup and track 401(k), 403(b) and Section 125 plans.
