Document Objects Control Module
Michaelsoft offers the DOCs (Document Objects Control) module to help you organize and efficiently manage the new-hire and continued employment paperwork associated with employee recordkeeping.  Use this module to document internal employee events such as; when they have read and signed their employee manual, status of past and future training and retraining dates, attendance in safety classes, and more.  External documents such as; license and certificates, I9 forms, employment authorization, etc., can also be recorded.  Any document or event that requires a completion, expiration, or renewal date can be tracked and managed with our new DOCs module.

 
Automates Document Tracking
DOC items may be setup so that they are automatically inherited based on organizational and job requirements.  These settings automate the document process by adding required DOC records to the employee's DOC item file upon being hired and/or assigned to a specific job.  Once inherited, it becomes easy to track completion and renewal dates as well as identify the late or delinquent status of any item.

 
Comprehensive Data Screens
View the status of any DOC item for any employee using our comprehensive DOC item screens.  These unique displays allow you to view all DOC items by employee or all employees by DOC item, delivering a complete 180 degree picture of these important events.  Additional filter and sort controls give you the ability narrow the display focus to the specific items you are interested in.

 
Informative Reports
List DOC records by item, employee, job, supervisor, or even organizational level.  Run reports that show which DOC items are due to be returned or need to be renewed - for any date range.  Identify current items that are past due as well as those that were returned late.  See which items were sent late or even those that were never sent at all.  Then print DOC item letters addressed to specific employees informing them of items that are past due, coming up for renewal, or soon to expire.

 
Integrates Seamlessly with HRtrax
Built specifically to work within the HRtrax environment, our new DOCs module integrates seamlessly with the core HRtrax application.  It can be included at the time of the initial system installation, or added later after the implementation process is complete.  DOCs use the same interface elements common to all components of the HRtrax HRMS system so minimal training and implementation is required to become productive with its features.

 
Module Requirements
The DOCs module is an optional add-on component designed to enhance the features of the HRtrax HRMS system.  It was built upon the same framework that provides the foundation for the HRtrax application and uses many features within that application to support its functionality.  As a result, the core HRtrax application must be installed before the DOCs module can be added.
