HRtrax - Self-Service
|
HRtrax browser-based employee view and browser-based self-service
modules are available for network installations of the HRtrax
application. These optional self-service products are designed to
supplement HRtrax by allowing employees to either view, or view and update
their records over the web from anywhere they have internet access.
In an effort to differentiate the capabilities of each product, the browser-based view option is called BEV (Browser-based Employee View) and the self-service option is called
BESS (Browser-based Employee Self Service). With these new modules your
employees can use electronic methods to communicate with your human
resource department rather than the manual processes that are commonly in-place. Relieve your human resource staff of seemingly endless data
entry tasks and keep your employees better
informed with HRtrax Self-Service.

BEV - Browser-based Employee Views

Our Browser-based Employee Views provide your employees with a
real-time display of
over 60 data elements specific to their human resource records.
This includes views for employee and dependent master and placement
information, as well as a detailed
view of all active recurring earnings and payroll deductions. In addition,
the module prepares views for all employee and dependent Benefit
enrollment records and activity.

BESS - Browser-based Employee Self-Service

Our Browser-based Employee Self-Service provides all the same
real-time views as described in the above BEV option, however, with
BESS, the employee is granted the ability to enter additions and/or changes to a select group of their
data elements. Information entered using the BESS option is
accumulated in an entry queue and applied to their "live"
records only after the HR staff has reviewed and approved those
entries.

Module Requirements
|
HRtrax Employee Self-Service is an optional add-on module engineered
to supplement the functionality of the HRtrax HRMS system. It
uses may features within the core application to support its
operation. In addition to the web-server and web-client system
requirements, the core HRtrax application must be installed as a
prerequisite to adding this new module.

Application Prerequisite:
- HRtrax core HRMS application version 4.9.09 or higher
|
Web-Server Requirements:
- IBM Compatible 800 MHz or higher Pentium Class Server.
- 256 MB or more Server RAM
- 250 MB or more free Hard Drive space
- Microsoft Windows NT4 / 2000 Server / 2003 Server or later
- Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) 4.0 or higher
- Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP) 2.0 or higher
- Internet Explorer 5.1 or higher
- 256 Color VGA or SVGA or better video

- IBM Compatible 200 MHz or higher Pentium Class workstation.
- 64 MB or more of RAM for Workstation
